FinvesT, the Finance and Investment Club at the Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIM Trichy), is a student-led initiative with the primary objective of cultivating a strong interest in finance among its members.

FinvesT facilitates the following opportunities:

• Vriddhi Investment Fund: This student-managed long-only investment fund focuses on investing in companies that consistently demonstrate earnings growth and a competitive edge over their peers. The fund strives to generate alpha through meticulous bottom-up stock selection, grounded in intensive fundamental research and a robust analytical framework.
• Guest Lectures and Workshops: FinvesT invites industry professionals and thought leaders to campus, hosting guest lectures and seminars. These sessions provide students with crucial insights into contemporary financial practices, trends, and emerging opportunities. The club also conducts multiple workshops throughout the year to enhance students' financial skills.
• Panel Discussions: The club organizes panel discussions featuring experts discussing significant financial topics, providing students with diverse viewpoints and fostering lively discussions.
• Publications: FinvesT's magazine, "Finspire," created in collaboration with IIM Ranchi, IIM Raipur, IIM Udaipur, IIM Visakhapatnam, and IIM Mumbai encompasses insightful financial articles, case studies, research papers, editorials, and opinion pieces on relevant subjects. These articles are contributed by students and faculty from partner IIM institutions.
• Scholarships: In partnership with academic institutions like CFA Institute, USA, and CMT Association, USA, FinvesT offers scholarships for CFA and CMT examinations.
• Competitions: Acknowledging the importance of hands-on learning, the club organizes various competitions and championships. These events allow students to apply their financial knowledge, compete for cash awards, and explore job opportunities. Additional events like Fincarnival provide students with the chance to establish crucial connections and learn from industry experts.
